At Greater Ohio Area SuperKids Classic, Inc., our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. For over 35 years, their support, enthusiasm, and dedication have made our race possible, successful, and fun! We couldn’t do it without them.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring a wide range of skills and talents to the table. Whether you are an individual, a business, a workplace, or a community group, we welcome your involvement and support. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, including:
- Co-pilots: As a co-pilot, you will assist our racers by operating the SuperKids cars on race day. It’s a great way to experience the excitement of Soap Box Derby style racing up close while providing invaluable support to our SuperKids. Learn more
- Sponsors: Our sponsors play a crucial role in helping us maintain our mission and serve our racers. We welcome both financial and in-kind sponsors and offer a variety of sponsorship levels and benefits. Become a sponsor today.
- Event volunteers: We have dedicated individuals and organizations that devote significant time to operations, program and race planning. Throughout the year, we offer various events and activities that require volunteers to help make them a success.

All volunteers must also agree to follow SuperKids and Derby Downs rules and regulations.
